I am Catherine Vidal, a French stained glass artist creating unique light sculptures. My work explores light, color, and form, drawing inspiration from Art Deco, the timeless elegance of the Tiffany style, as well as a dialogue between different eras, ranging from Art Nouveau to vintage and contemporary aesthetics. Each piece is entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques.

My artworks are typically classified under a specific customs category for original art (HS Code 9703), which often allows reduced or even zero import duties, particularly in the United States.

For international shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, local taxes, and handling fees may apply depending on the destination country and the final customs classification.

Customs classifications are determined by the destination country’s authorities. While my pieces are generally recognized as fine art, final decisions remain at the discretion of local customs.

Most orders shipped to the United States benefit from low import fees, and orders below 800 USD are generally duty-free.

As original artworks, my pieces are typically classified under fine art categories, which often results in minimal customs duties. For higher-value shipments, import charges may still apply depending on U.S. regulations.
